Polish Traditional Easter Sunday Palms 12 inches, Set of 3
Following the 40 days of Lent, Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Easter season. Brought to the Palm Sunday mass by the parishioners, straw palms are blessed by the priest. Consecrated palm fronds are believed to have protective powers and are kept in the home for protection from misfortune. It's a part of the Polish and Slovak Easter season tradition, along with Easter eggs and Dyngus. Each palm is handmade in Poland, and because of that may differ slightly in design and color from what is pictured. Each palm measures approx. 12" tall.
