The tradition of having food for the Easter meal blessed on Holy Saturday has been practiced in Poland and all over the world by Poles and Christians for centuries. In Poland a wicker basket is filled with a sampling of the Easter meal, covered with a white cover and taken to church to be blessed. The 13.5" in diameter round doily is perfect to cover the blessed food in the basket or decorate the Easter tables. The characteristic folk Easter eggs with chicks, rooster and pussy willows are beautifully screen printed on the doilies. These screen-printed doilies are made of 100% polyester and decorated with glitter for an extra touch of sparkle. Variety of colors available. Made in Poland.
