Polish Kashubian Folk Art Transparent Umbrella
Protect yourself from rain or UV rays in style with this unique, generously-sized umbrella, decorated with the Polish folk art. The art of Wycinanki, or Polish paper cuttings, comes from a centuries-old tradition, where vividly colored paper is cut to create masterful works of art. Two regional designs to choose from: Kashubian or Lowicz. This folding umbrella has an acrylic handle, fiberglass (Lowicz umbrella) or metal ribs (Kashubian umbrella), and top end with a spring-loaded button for easy opening. The dome shaped canopy is made of transparent PVC with colorful arts. Designed in Poland. Umbrella stands approx. 34.5" tall and has an open diameter approx. 34". One umbrella per order.
Please note: All of the Lowicz transparent umbrellas from the latest production in 2017 are finished with fiberglass ribs. The transition from metal ribs to fiberglass was dictated by the improvement of product quality, and it was to eliminate bending and breaking of the metal ribs. Now they do not bend and do not break. Instead, due to their flexibility, they like to move after opening and therefore, may not be aligned properly. This applies only to Lowicz transparent PVC umbrellas. There is no physical possibility to attach the ribs to PVC, as is the case with fabric or metal umbrellas.
